Team Supercrew for Home Visiting Programs

Team Supercrew offers home visiting programs a story-based way to help children ages 2 to 6 understand big feelings and build the skills to manage them. Our Home Visiting Kits open warm, low-pressure conversations about feelings during visits, without adding anything new to learn or changing how you already work, and leave families with tools they can keep using between visits.

Our 3-Step Method: Story, Play, Support

Team Supercrew builds emotional learning in the calm moments, then gives families regulation strategies for every developmental level when big feelings hit.

Step 1StoryRelatable storylines and characters children see themselves in help them learn to identify and understand their emotions.
Step 2PlayPlush characters and pretend play help children put what they have learned into practice while connecting with their caregivers.
Step 3SupportThe SOS Kit, Feelings Chart, and Calm Down Chart give families ready-to-use regulation strategies for the big feeling moments.

Where Team Supercrew Fits

Team Supercrew is a targeted social emotional support, the green tier of the Pyramid Model. It works for most children, including many who screen at risk on the ASQ, and it can be used alongside more intensive services when a child needs them.

It builds on the foundation your program already provides: a well-trained workforce, nurturing and responsive relationships, and high-quality supportive environments.

Supporting Children on the Autism Spectrum

Sensory needs are a big part of regulation for children on the spectrum, so we designed the SOS Kit to cover every sense on purpose. There is something in it for every child, with or without a disability.

  • SOS strategies that engage all five senses, from I Spy color hunts to imagining the taste of a strawberry, plus high and low energy movement for children who are overstimulated or understimulated
  • Calming sensory input, like body squeezes, that can be introduced at the child's pace as trust with the adult grows
  • Children choose what works for them, so families can lean into the strategies that feel good to their child
  • The Feelings Chart and Calm Down Chart give children a visual way to name what they feel and choose a calming strategy
  • Training, in person or virtual, led by a licensed clinician who can tailor your program's training to support children on the spectrum and answer questions about specific situations
