I love these books. They are so adorable and easy to read. They are colorful and imaginative but most importantly they have easy to understand concepts. The tips and tricks in the back of the book is also extremely helpful for parents and kids to help regulate emotions.

These books actually work. As a parent, I have read plenty of emotional learning titles that felt like fluffâ this set is different. My kids absolutely love these books! Each story is packed with adventure and humour, but also teaches simple ways to handle tough emotions. I noticed my pre-schooler actually using the breathing and bravery tricks from the stories during daily challenges. A fun way to learn about emotions. The character design is very thoughtful and racial inclusive, wording can be a little hard depending on the age. But learning through day to day scenarios is very helpful.

As a parent, I’m always looking for ways to help my kids process their big feelings, and this Team Supercrew set is genuinely a miracle worker. By framing emotions as "powers," the books take the fear and shame out of having a meltdown and turn it into something a child can actually manage and understand. The CBT-inspired approach is brilliant—it’s subtle enough that the kids just think they’re reading fun superhero stories, but effective enough that I’ve already noticed them using the coping strategies when they get frustrated. As a parent, these are very repetitive. But for a kid, they need that and do well with it. My son loves these books. Tonight he fell and after he took some deep breaths, he said “I can do anything” and my heart melted and he went on playing. We’ve introduced a new one every few nights and just tonight started the kind book. Like I said, not my favorite but my son is learning a lot from them and absolutely loves them
I picked up the Team Supercrew series for my two boys hoping to find a low-pressure way to talk about some emotions we've been navigating at home lately. Overall, it’s been good for the kids. It resonated with my 6-year-old. He loves the superhero angle, and it has genuinely given us a shared vocabulary to use when he gets frustrated or anxious. Now, instead of a meltdown, I can gently ask him if he needs to call on "Chloe the Calm," and he actually understands what I mean. My 8-year-old listened in and definitely absorbed the positive messages, but he did think the stories were a little bit on the younger side for him. It’s definitely more a teaching tool disguised as a picture book. That said, it does exactly what it sets out to do.

Good books - the formula is easy for kids to grasp. Provides parents/guardians a good script essentially to talk about how to handle big emotions. I ordered these to read with my extremely bright 7-year old daughter. I think she kinda saw through the formula… which of course made her a little skeptical overall. I’m thinking these books are probably great for ages 3-5/6. I’d love a version aimed at the 7-9 age range that’s a little less simplistic and super-hero-y.
After a screaming tantrum, I ordered these for my 3 year old grandson. Since I started reading them to him, he has repeatedly requested for more and more readings. It introduces some new concepts for him to think about and the brave, kind, calm and gritty power already within him is something that he is really starting to “get.” Well worth whatever I paid!!
